Changing people, transforming lives

The Co-Active® model focuses on the individual as a whole, not just one aspect of their lives. As a result, it does not compartmentalize people. It sees everyone as multi-faceted and dynamic.

As a coach, the Co-Active® model allows you to work on whichever topic(s) your client chooses. Whether a client wants coaching on boardroom challenges, career development or relationships, Co-Active® coaching gives you the tools to meet their needs more effectively.

Coach any client on any topic, with the coaching world’s most flexible and proven model at your fingertips. Here’s what to expect in the Intermediate course:

  • In-depth training on all aspects of the Co-Active® coaching model
  • Preparation for the ICF-accredited Co-Active Certification level
  • Courses taught in English, unless stated otherwise (Dutch or German)

The Co-Active® program consists of three parts:

  1. Fundamentals
  2. Intermediate
  3. Certification

Subject-matter

The Co-Active® Intermediate program consists of four parts:

Fulfillment, Balance, Process and Synergy.

Fulfillment: Finding deeper meaning and satisfaction in life

This portion of the course imparts skills for helping your clients discover their unique values, identify self-defeating influences and create their own vision of a compelling future. Fulfillment coaching empowers your clients to let go of preconceived limitations and embrace a life in which they can truly thrive. After completion, you earn 21.50 ICF in-class contact hours.

Balance: Powerful choices and effective actions

Next, learn to help your clients gain new perspectives and create commitment-based action plans. Often, we forget how much power we have to shape our own lives. Balance coaching helps clients make powerful life choices and select the experiences they want most, instead of feeling pressured to have it all. After completion, you earn 21.25 ICF in-class contact hours.

Process: The full richness of every moment

Learn to help your clients overcome emotionally-charged issues and understand that chaos and confusion are part of moving forward. As a coach, you stand by your clients as they go experiences ranging from messy to ecstatic. You serve as a mirror in which they learn to fully know themselves. After completion, you earn 21.25 ICF in-class contact hours.

Synergy: Co-Active Coaching

This section of the course integrates all the coaching skills learned in previous sections, taking you to a higher level of impact and professionalism. It gives you the polish, depth and courage to effectively respond to a wide range of clients and coaching situations with creativity, confidence and power.
