Training Days
The Co-Active® Coaching Fundamentals workshop is a 2.5-day training course. On the second evening of the workshop, you will hold a real-life, one-hour coaching session (by telephone), working on a specific topic with someone from your professional or personal network. The next morning, we will evaluate the results of your coaching session.
Admission to this program is charged at a daily rate. You are not obliged to stay at the venue overnight, but you may stay in the hotel if you wish. If you would like to book one or more overnight stays at the venue and/or dinners, please contact the venue directly. SUAS cannot book overnight stays and/or dinners on your behalf.
Co-Active® Coaching Fundamentals Workshop:
- Day One from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM (lunch not included)
- Day Two from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (lunch included)
- Day Three from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (lunch included)
Co-Active® Coaching Virtual Fundamentals:
The Co-Active Coaching Virtual Fundamentals is a 4x half-day virtual course. The first three sessions start at 09.00 AM and end at 14.00 PM. The fourth session starts at 9.00 AM and ends at 15.00 PM. On the third evening you will hold a real-life, one-hour coaching session (by telephone or via internet), working on a specific topic with someone from your professional or personal network. The next morning, we will evaluate the results of your coaching session.
Participants
The maximum group size for the training course is 26 participants.
ICF accreditation
As CTI’s partner, Competence is the exclusive provider of its ICF-accredited Co-Active® Coach Training program in the BeNeLux, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Scandinavia and China.
The three-part Co-Active® Coach Training program is the only program of its kind in the world. It is specially designed to prepare you for a career as an ICF-certified Co-Active® coach. The Co-Active Coaching Fundamentals (CTI - English) course is the first step towards certification. After completion, you earn 18.75 ICF in-class contact hours.

Certificate
At the end of the Co-Active Coaching Fundamentals (CTI - English) course, you will receive a certificate which shows that you participated in a 18.75-hour ICF-accredited Training program. This certificate gives access to the Co-Active® Coaching Intermediate course, the next level of the Co-Active Coaching curriculum. The ICF has stipulated that you cannot miss more than one hour of an ICF-accredited course.
